Good grief. Friday night was a dieters nightmare. Eastonroyce and I, after a day of complete and nutritious meals, decided we would like McFlurries for dessert. So off we went – jumped in the car and drove over to Maccas to get our McFlurries. Upon arrival, we discovered they had warm cookie fudge sundaes available so we got two of them instead. Leaving Maccas, we passed KFC and I had a sudden desire for KFC chips. So through the KFC drive thru we went, arming ourselves with a large chips each. Home we went to indulge in our treats. After consuming our treats while watching an episode of Stargate, we decided coffees were in order. But alas, we had no milk. So back in the car again we got and drove over to the all night servo on the edge of town.
We have now discovered where the bogans hang out when not driving up and down the whole 4 blocks of the main street; the servo.
Ignoring the teeny boppers over-revving their parents cars with P plates stuck on, we went in to get our milk. No skim unfortunately, so we bought lite instead. On the way to the counter, we passed chocolate. Chocolate suddenly became a necessity, so a block of Cadbury Snack was collected. Bread was also required – unfortunately, no multigrain was available either, so we got crappy white bread instead. Eastonroyce also purchased lollies and chocolate bars for his long trip to Coffs the following day. We finally made it to the counter only to discover that my $10 note could not be accepted as the corner was torn and missing (damn you KFC!). In that case, EFTPOS was the next best option, however, there was a $10 minimum which required a cup of mixed lollies was added to bring up the total cost. Arriving back home, eating continued into the night. How shameful.
