Can today go any slower? I think not. I mustn’t be working hard enough today because time has been flying at work for the last two days, and yet today it crawls. Maybe its because I’ve been staring at code unblinkingly for the last few days, only to go home and play Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess unblinkingly, only to sleep, wake up, and do the same thing all over again. I think I may actually be starting to feel the effects of staring at too many glowing screens – I’ve gotten soft from all this trying to take time away from the computer and stuff. I’m out of shape!
And you know whats worse? Not only is time going slow, today is payday – and I’m already broke!! After paying back my credit card from my shopping spree in Tamworth the other day, plus the constant repairs to my car, I now officially have no money until next pay day (a fortnight away). And its my birthday next week!!! No big spend up for me. Hopefully I will get food for my birthday, or I may starve. *sigh* Oh, woe is me.
Ah well. At least I have the mesmerising comfort of Zelda to go home to! I can’t believe it. I have had my wii for two weeks, and already I have flattened the batteries in both controllers. I frantically had to find replacements last night as I was half-way through saving when the second controller went flat! “Are you sure you want to overwrite saved game?” *click* Nothing. *click* Nothing. *click* *click* *click* Dammit!!
Ah, its all fun and games. Until someone loses an eye. Then its fun you can’t see.
