Here I was thinking 2008 was going to be a quiet year. Already I have lots of events coming up in the next few months, I will hardly have time to rest!

Last weekend Eastonroyce and I headed over to Moree to catch up with our friends Sarah and Geoff. I finally managed to convince Eastonroyce to leave Quin at my parents place for the weekend. Those two cannot be separated! Even when I left my lunch and wallet at home when I went to work last week, they both drove the half hour to and from Wee Waa to bring them out to me. Thank goodness the Christmas chaos is over. From about 2pm December 25th (just after lunch with a tummy full from yummie baked pumpkin and potato – mmmm!) I’m content and ready to start enjoying the Christmas holidays. Anything before that is just rush, rush, rush, spend, spend, spend!

Christmas this year was a lot of fun. As I posted earlier, Eastonroyce and I went to Coffs Harbour for a two week holiday. I swear we took half the stuff we own over with us. Between us we took 4 computers – sad, I know – Nintendo Wii, most of the games we own and tonnes of packaged presents. On the way back it was pretty much the same, only the presents were all unwrapped and we were piled high with a tonne of extra games and DVDs we bought while shopping. Poor little Quin had to sit at my feet as there was no room anywhere else for the little guy. Good thing he slept most of the trip – the secret formula? Quin + Favourite Red Blanky = Sleepy Puppy!
